Services & Fees
We consider it a privilege to walk alongside you in whatever situation you are facing. We utilize a variety of treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Systems, and Psychodynamic Therapy to address issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, family relationships, forgiveness, childhood issues, trauma, and grief and loss.
We currently see clients ages 10 and up.
Couples of all stages, from premarital couples to couples that have been married for decades, can benefit from couple's counseling. At Good Courage Counseling, we primarily use the Gottman method, developed by John and Julie Gottman. It involves addressing areas of conflict and equipping couples with skills to improve the quality of friendship and level of intimacy in the relationship.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders. Feel free to discuss this treatment with your therapist to see how it might be beneficial to you.
Good Courage Counseling is an out of network provider with insurance. You still may be able to get a portion of your sessions covered with your out-of-network benefits, though we cannot guarantee this. Statements, called Superbills, are available upon request that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement if applicable. You can also use your Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA). We encourage you to contact your insurance company to determine coverage for out-of-network counseling services.
